With 5 million downloads and 4 million customers, the platform is a true financial super app. Powered by an AI “Agentic Framework” that uniquely adapts its services based on each user’s specific financial situation. Beem delivers 10+ financial wellness services in a single subscription, outpacing competitors who typically offer just one or two products. 

Challenge

While Beem had successfully built a loyal base of over 4 million customers who relied on the app for financial utility, the goal was to transform the platform into a habitual, daily destination. Rather than treating it as a standard engagement problem, Beem recognized it as a unique opportunity. 

Beem’s core demographic—gig workers, shift employees, and the self-employed—represents an untapped goldmine for adjoe’s advertisers. Unlike casual scrollers, Beem users have genuine idle time between gigs, a strong motivation to supplement their income, and a strong response to real-dollar rewards. Beem needed a monetization solution that could offer meaningful rewards to this highly motivated audience and integrate it thoughtfully, rather than just randomly plugging in an SDK. 

Solution

To address this opportunity, Beem partnered with adjoe to launch Beem Arcade. Beem’s team focused heavily on strategic product design to transform their app from a strictly transactional utility into a habitual daily destination.

Instead of relying on traditional, trust-breaking ad formats, Beem Arcade monetizes user attention by rewarding it. To ensure the experience felt completely native, Beem positioned the Arcade on the homepage and within the Earn tab, effectively meeting users right in their moments of downtime. Furthermore, adjoe’s ML-powered personalized gaming offers aligned perfectly with Beem’s broader positioning as an AI-first super app. 

The core differentiator of this integration was how it tied into the existing Beem ecosystem. Earnings aren’t isolated in a separate wallet; as users play, real cash is deposited directly into their main Beem accounts.

This sparked a fundamental shift in user behavior, highlighted by a staggering 2.3x increase in sessions per Arcade user vs. non-users. This deep engagement translates directly into sustainable revenue, driving a +11% increase in ARPU among users who earned cashback via Arcade vs. those who didn’t.

Equally important, the integration fulfills Beem’s mandate as a Public Benefit Corporation by delivering true financial empowerment. But the true impact is best measured at the individual level: individual payouts reached up to $300 for top users. Even a user earning just $5–$20 a month makes a difference for someone managing a tight gig income—providing the funds needed to cover a rideshare, a grocery run, or a utility bill. 

Looking Forward

Moving forward, Beem plans to explore further optimizations and personalized reward loops to maximize earning potential for the American mass market. By continuing to turn idle screen time into real financial empowerment, Beem and adjoe are setting a new standard for how fintechs can grow sustainably while staying loyal to their users.
