That gives you an average revenue per daily active user of 0.10 US dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When determining an ARPDAU by source or revenue stream \u2013&nbsp;such as <a href=\"https:\/\/adjoe.io\/glossary\/in-app-purchases\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">in-app purchases<\/a> or in-app advertising \u2013 the formula remains the same. The only difference is that you take the daily active users for the app regardless of if users have interacted with that revenue stream or not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Is ARPDEU?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If publishers want to understand how powerful a revenue stream is based on the users that <em>do <\/em>engage with it, they should track the average revenue per engaged user (ARPDEU) \u2013 or ARPDAU (engaged).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, a publisher might want to see how effectively it is monetizing users with <a href=\"https:\/\/adjoe.io\/solutions\/advertise-your-app\/display-ads\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">video ads<\/a>.
